SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.
Messrs E. Dixon, J. G. Osborne, and B. A. Pacey have been appointed Hawera delegates to the New Zealand convention of second division reservists, to be hold in Wellington next week. It is expected that the delegation from Taranaki will be the largest that has eve r visited Wellington from this province. . A sub-branch of tflie Sttratford Dis-' trict Second Division League was formed at Midhirst on Tuesday evening. The following committee were elected: — Messrs G. P. Tlarkness (chairman). W. Monntford, A. MeMeokan (secretary), C. J. Latham, F. Carter, Geo. Smith, W. Vickers, Tucker, Davis, Skedgwell (jun.), Petersen, Schumacher, Willdon. Messrs Tlarkness and Mountford were appointed delegates to the Stratford Association
