THE EMPIRE.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON,. The Empire Theatre management has made arrangements With the Dandies to run the usual picture matinee to-mor-row afternoon, and a matinee programme has been secured that will be remembered by the children for many years to come. The picture of particular interest will be the local school film taken last Tuesday, showing the children of the West End, Central, Fit2roy and New Plymouth High Schools. A glance at the advt. will convince parents that the rest of the programme is something to make the kiddies enthuse. There is a Charlie Chaplin film, a pantomime, a fairy story, child studies, vaudeville acts,, a cowboy drama, and a Keystone comedy. It surely qualifies as the greatest matinee programme ever shown.
