ON THE SEA.

EXTENSION OF DANGER ZONE. Received July 11, 11.10 p.m. Amsterdam, July, 11. Tho Telegraaf asserts that the extension of the British danger zone in the North Sea includes the so-called. safe channel left by Germany. This is due, to the Germans misusing the channel in order to maintain communication between Heligoland Bight, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam and German harbors. . Shiploads of coal from Rhineland and Westphalia, which cannot be transported <>» German railways, are sent to' Rotterdam and thence German ships convey the coal to Emden and Cuxhaven. Obviously Britain cannot tolerate such practices. Germany, and not Britain, should be asked to change her methods.
