Javelche, Ryibna, and Stalyeysiec. The cavalry immediately pursued, reaching the Likva river. We evacuated Pindjvin, Khanikin, and Karishireu under Turkish pressure. We bombed the railway station, at Pinsk, causing conflagrations,

CONFERENCE WITH ALLIES. ON BALKAN AFFiAIRS. RUSSIA'S VIEWS AS TO GREECE. Reuter Service. Received July 10, 8.50 p.m. Petrograd, July 9. The Government announces that a special conference of the Allies has been convoked to consider Balkan affairs. The conference is necessary in view of the extreme complexity of the political and strategical situation in the Balkans, the object being to secure a common policy. 'Tho announcement adds that the Government has formally protested againstt the recent steps taken by tho other Allies relative to Greece, and that while not animated by a desire to support Constantine, -whom we disapprove, and whoso persona! policy we continue to completely disapprove, we disapprove the means employed to forcibly substitute one king for another. We maintained in our pourparler with the Allies that tho choice to form a. Government for Greece, as well as an administrative organisation, appertains exclusively to the Greek people.
