SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.

BRANCH BORMED AT INGLEWOOD. Despite the unfavorable weather, there was an attendance of over 100 at the meeting at Inglewood Tow if Hall on Friday night for the purpose of considering the formation of a branch of the Second Division League. Mr. Geo. Young (Mayor) presided, and there "were also on the platform Messrs W. E. Percival and L. De Launay, Messrs. J. Clarke, V. DulT and A. C. Downes, of New Plymouth, addressed the meeting and were well received. Tt was decided to form ft branch ot the League, nearly all present signifying their intention of becoming merribers. Mr. Geo. Young was elected president and the following committee was appointed: Messrs. L. DeLaunav. A. E. Surrey, A. Coldwell, A. Patterson, A. B. Gamlin, F. Spurdle, 15. Buckley and Hntton. The committee will appoint the secretary, also the delegates to attend the Wellington conference later.
