HUNTING.

On Thursday next, the sth inst.. the North 'Parana ki hunt will meet at Messrs. Skelton and Eruini's. AVnihi not at Leppcrton as carded. The Waihi district has provided the fljest hunting this season, hares being plentiful and the country in tip top order. Messrs Skelton and Eruini have secured a large 'tract of country to hunt over, thanks to the surrounding farmers, and have been ibusv span-ins the fences, so that followers'may keep well up with the hounds, wild are now in splendid condition and full of running. Owing to the present huntsman (Mr. K. Rock) having joined the 'Expeditionary Forces Mr. E. Mason has been appointed huntsman. Mr. Mason has been a deputy master to the hunt for several years, and an enj thusiastic member and will no doubt (.prove to be the right man in the right I place.
