A wireless Russian official message etates: After it«- 0 days' artillerying we attacked the Koniuchy-Bysbki front and occupied three lines of trendies. We took the fortified village of Koniuehy, and advanced as far as the Koniueliy stream, southward of the village. The prisoners counted so far number 83G4. W o also took seven guns. We attacked south-westward of BrzeKiny and occupied strong fortified positions, which constantly changed hands, owing to German-Turkish counterattacks. AVe captured on this front yesterday nine officers and 1700 men. The Turks are retreating to Pendjvin. Our pursuing cavalry occupied Engidia, northward of Lake Deribar. We also occupied Kalamirivan, soutlijvestward of Lake Deribar, and the villages in the neighborhood. KERENSKY'S ASSURANCE. REGARDING RUSSIA'S GREAT EFFORT. GERMAN PEACE PAMPHLETS. PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATIONS AT RIGA. Received July 3, 0.30 p.m. Pctrograd, July 2. Though the enemy is 'bombarding our first lines, small detachments at night come to the entanglements and attempt to deliver peace pamphlets and present wine and brandy, which the Russians reject. German deserters state that naval operations on a grand scale are preparing in the Gulf of Riga. Troops from other fronts are concentrating, and formidable trenches and other works are being constructed. 'Field-Marshal von Hindenburg and General Ludendorff are expected to make an inspection of the preparations that are being made for an attack on the Riga front in July.
