DEMOCRATISING THE CONSTITUTION.
THE KING AGREES, Received July 1, 5.5 p.m. Athens, June 30. After M. Venizelos had informed the King of his intention to recall the 1915 Chamber, he said: "I presume you understand, sir, that one of the first duties ot a Constituent Assembly is to revise the .powers of the Throne." The King Terplied that he quite understood. M. Venizelos continued: "It must be rendered impossible for the Sovereign to dissolve the Chamber or dismiss the Ministry, except by signing the vote for a dissolution a/lready given by the Chamber." The King answered: "Very well." ALLIED TO DEMOCRATIC POWERS.
REORGANISATION OF ARMY. Received July 1, 5:5 p.m. Athens, June 30. 'M. Venizelos, in a speech yesterday, declared that Greece would take her place (beside the democratic Powers fighting against the Central Empires, with whom were allied Greece's hereditary enemies. He concluded by referring to the reorganisation of the army, stating that the Government would, iwith a view to military training, call up the classes of 1916-17, and strive to reconcile the two sections of tho army.
