EVERYBODY'S.
MATINEE TO-DAY. . ETHEL CLAYTON AND CARLYLE BLACKWELL. An altogether unusual plot is presented in- "The Madness of Helen," the World film featuring the popular double, Ethel Clayton and Carfyle Blackwell which opens at Everybody's matinee today. As the play unfolds, the problem seems almost insoluble. The lover has persuaded himself.that the girl he adores must be (pure and sweet, when he finds her fleeing down the village street or a mad nocturnal adventure of the most evil kind. The village women hate her, for she is destroying their husbands, The climax is a Teal surprise, and the ending very beautiful. Some excellent studio work in the matter of tinted sea scenes is to be noticed, and the whole presentation is one of outstanding merit. Ethel Clayton in the dual role is .perfectly suited, and Carlyle Blactavell is an attractive hero. The .programme includes a good "Topical Budget,' a fine educational, "The Fly Pest," and a laughalble Vim comedy, "The Honeymoon Car."
