Thanks to ,4he generosity of country residents and townspeople the shop in Devon St central will have a great display ot ,meat, comprising eight bodies of beef, 20 sheep, five prime lambs, five sucking pigs, six porkers, two prime young goats, one vealer calf (prime quality), 120 poultry, eight turkeys, besides geese and small goods in profusion. The shop is in charge of expert local butchers. The J meat will be retailed at ordinary prices. The Shetland pony raffle is attracting [much attention, and tickets are going off freely. The pony will be on view in the streets for the next few days. All who have promised donations ol goods, etc., are asked to deliver them as early as possible a,t the mart this morning. , • '■
