DOMINION'S PART.

OUR MEN AT THE FRONT. PREMIER'S LAST MESSAGE. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. Massey's last message to the troops before leaving England prior to leaving Great Britain for New Zealand was as follows; I desire to express my heartiest good wishes for the welfare of the officers and men in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, wherever they may happen to be located in the great cause for which they are fighting. They are called upon to face hardships, dangers ■and difficulties, and British citizens all over the world appreciate this fact. Our gallant lads 'have willingly taken up the burden of empire, and will cheerfully carry their share right through to the end, whenever the end may come and wherever it may be. They know in coming to this side of the'world they are not ohly_ doing their duty to the Empire, but they are defending their own country just as truly as though the war was being fought out under the Southern Cross instead of mostly on the battlefields of France and Egypt. They are doing their duty to New Zealand, and New Zealand will do its duty to them. The love and admiration of the citizens of the Dominion go out to their soldiers and sailors; ami we trust they will have opportunity in the not far distant future of welcoming them back, bearing victory "'and honor to the names: from which they 6et out, to fight the battle of the" King and, the Empire, of free--1 dom and civilisation.
