SHORTAGE OF FOOD AND FUEL LOYALTY OF COSSACKS. London, June 25. The Petrograd correspondent of the Daily News states that food is costing Ave times more than during peace time and there are the clearest possible signs that there will be a famine later in the year. Even more serious is the threat of the almost total stoppage of industry owing to the shortage of fuel and material, yet workmen continually demand enormous increases in wages. There was grave danger of a big railway strike, which a Government manifesto luckily averted. The Cossacfc army is displaying great distrust of the extremists, and a desire for stability in the country. This is of great importance, the Temporary Government beirig confident that the Cossacks will support the work of creating a strong, united State. TROUBLESOME ANARCHISTS ARRESTED. Petrograd, June 25. Numbers of deserters are returning dailv. Over 5000 passed through Minsk on the i"vX The newspaper Novoya Jisn states (hat the Government has decided to dissolve the Duma. After service on-Sun-day a ;rowd of anarchists, including many soldiers and sailers, invaded the Lutheran Church at Helsingfors. The ringleader. Bolt, made incendiary speeches in Swedish, Finnish, and Russian from the pulpit, and the singing pf international songs followed. Finally | the militia dragged out the anarchists and arrested several, including Bolt, who was sent to a lunatic asylum. The militia were attacked with sticks and stones arid three were injured. An Austrian official message indicates the revival of Russian arUHerying at many points, particularly at the Nara-jowka-Zborov sector.
