DEATH OF MR. GEORGE MORS*. (By Telegraph.—Special to-Daily New»). Wanganui, Lwt Night. Mr. George Morse, the "well-known handicapper, died at Wanganui this af> ternoon after a short and painful illness. He was an.all-round sportsman, and had experience ol all phases of racing. He stood out as one of the most successful hnndicappers in the Dominicn. The deceased gentleman framed weights for Taranaki, Egmont and Opttnake meetings, and much of the progreis of these clubs was due to hie careful work, He also handicapped for Auckland, Wanganui, Masterton and a host of minor clubs. He had few enemies and many friends, and a great bulk of sporting folk "will receive the newi of his untimely death with the deepest regret. He leaves a widow, three sons an! one daughter to mourn their loss, T" ceased will be buries at Matarawa i Thursday.
