THE EMPIRE.
WILLIAM S. HAKT AS "TRUTHFUL TULLIVER" TO-NIGHT.
Although this is Western drama, it is a departure from the accepted wild and woolly plots which depend upon gunplay and fierce frowns for their excitement. The hero is the editor of the Glory Hole Nugget, a paper which sets out with the extraordinary motto, "The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth." A daily with this sort of idea at the back of it would take some enthusiasm to keep going in ordinary cities, but in Glory Hole the editor has to be "some guy 1 ' with a revolver to go to press with any regularity. A new heroine makes hor appearance in the lead opposite to W. S. Hart. , This is dark-eyed Alma Reubens, who has been in a couple of Fairbanks' 1 successes. The other girl in the double love story, which is charmingly interwoven into all the Glory Hole sudden death and adventure, is Nina Byron, who is amazingly pretty and daintjly effective. The programme includes "Tangled Threads," a further-link in the chain picture, "Gloria's Romance." Patrons are notified that this programme will be screened for three nights commencing to-night.
