A HUMANE BEQUEST. By Telegraph—Press Association Auckland, Last Night. A deputation representing all shades of opinion waited to-day in reference to the case of the youth now undergoing sentence for attempted murder, who was iecently operated on for brain pressure. The deputation protested against the prisoner's removal from the hospital without consulting the operating surgeon, to the gaol, and urged thai lie be sent back to the former institute in order that the sprgeon who operated might have the full control of case, and that skilled nursing attention might be available. ROUGH WEATHER. Auckland, Last Night. A fresh north-east gale was blowing on Saturday, there being a very rough sea. Small vessels returned to port, and other vessels sheltered in the gulf till this morning, when the weather moderated. The Te Anau sailed for Wellington on Saturday, but sheltered till th'l3 morning.
