'Bridge Party.—Last Thursday evening Misßes Read and Testar gave a deliglftful bridge and euchre party as a, farewell to Miss Browne. The card rooms were very prettily decorated with masess of pale pink camelias, and a most Techerche supper was served after the games were finished. The party was brought to a close with the singing of Auld Lang Syne and "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow." The prizes were won by Mesdames Meffley and Matthews (bridge), and Nurse Hall (euchre). Sale of Work.—A most successful sale of word in aid of the Back Blocks Mission was held in St. Mary's Hall last Thursday afternoon and evening and the following stalls were managed by the following ladies:—Produce stall, Mrs. M'Kellar, Misses Curtis and Norman; shilling stall. Misses M'Kellar and Marshal; plain work stall, Mestlames Newman and Dabb and Miss Norman; sweets ■stall, Misses Webster, Bradbury (2); bran tub, Misses Pelham and Crooke; afternoon tea, Misses Leatham (2), Matthews, E. Whitcomhe, Mace (2), and Joan Wilson. In the evening a most enjoyable musical programme was arranged and the following are those who assisted in making the concert the success is was: Mesdames Holbrooke, Wilkes Campbell, Misßes Peart, Leatham Hirst (2), Collins, Breton and Messrs.
