DAIRY FACTORIES.
PROPOSED AMALGAMATION. The movement to amalgamate the T. L. Joll Dairy Company and the Kaupokonui Dairy Company, which serve practically the same districts, in two or three places their factories being practically against one another, is gaining a good deal of support, and at a large meeting of farmers at Kapuni last Thursday a resolution was passed as follows: —"That this meeting is in favor of straight-out amalgamation between the Kaupokonui and T. L. Joll Dairy Companies, and a copy of this resolution be sent to each board."
