A TRANSPORT SUNK. ■SIXTY-THREE MISSING. Received June 19, fi.45 p.m. London, Juno 18. An enemy submarine sank the British transport! Cameronian on June 2, in the eastern Mediterranean. The survivors of the hospital ship Dover Castle, which was torpedoed in the Mediterranean on May 29, have arrived. They state it was a beautiful calm night, and the first warning of the explosion was the ripping of a great hole, killing six men in the stokehole. A comrade waa dragged out by 'another fireman, with a broken jaw, shoulder bruises, and cuts from head to foot. The officers and doctors Bhowed the utmost courage and directed the rescue work. Of the six hundred wounded men, many were armless, hobbling, or swathed in bandages. It was a great relief when it was announced that all had been transferred. There were no nurses aboard the ship. NORWAY'S LOSSES. ABOUT A MILLION TONS. " Received June 10, 6.45 p.m. ' ' Copenhagen, June IS. The Tidenstegn says that during the war the Germans have submarined 562 Norwegian' ships, of a total tonnage of 800,000 tons, and 581 men and women have been killed. Furthermore, the fate of many ships is unknown. It is estimated that the merchant fleet has altogether ldst about a million tons, and about 000 or 700 lives. JAPANESE SINK A SUBMARINE. A. & N.Z. The Admiralty reports that a Japanese torpedo flotilla attacked, and it is believed sank, an enemy submarine in the Mediterranean on Tuesday.
