Ls»t NigKt At a public meeting of citizens held to-night resolutions were carrisd demanding the Government to introduce legislation to reduce the hours for the sale of liquor to between 8 a.m. and I? p.m., and also to make provision for taking the triennial 'prohibition poll in December next or an immediate referendum on prohibition during the war and the period of demobilisation.
