CONDITIONS IN AUSTRIA. AS DESCRIBED BY TRAVELLERS. Received June 19, 1.30 a.m. London, June 18. The Daily Chronicle's Zurich correspondent states that travellers in Austria confirm the existence of appalling conditions. Many commodities are unprocurable, the prices being prohibitive. People have become apathetic as to the result of the war. There is much rioting and violence in Bohemia, meetings being prohibited. A GERMAN REPORT. A. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter. Received June 18, 5:5 p.m. London,.June 17. A wireless German official report states: We repulsed the English southwest of Warneton. Tho English continued their attacks near Monchy and Croiselles, temporarily penetrating north-westward of Buliecourt, hut our counter-attack regained the position. We captured a mountain of prominence north-westward of Hurtebise farm. Fighting activity has increased westward of Luck, south-eastward of Miloczow, and in the Carpathians' foreland, We repulsed Russian reconnoitres near Brzezany.
