j PRESIDENT PROMISES TO RESIGN. London, June 15. The Morning Post Tientsin correspondent says that the President, in accepting the Acting-Premier's resignation explains that he is acting on compulsion and promises to resign on the first opportunity. He has appointed Changohashung as Premier.' DOMINANCE OF MILITARY PARTY, London, June 18. Reports from Tientsin state that Dr. Morrison advised the President to resist Changhuiun, but the military party was too strong.
