GERMAN SOCIALISTS' PROPOSALS. ' TOT ACME OF ABSORDITY. 'Australian Cable Association. Received June 17, 5:5 p.m. Stockholm, June 16. The German Majority Socialists, in an (official' adhering to the RussiRn Workers' Council's scheme of peace without) annexation and indemnity, say they are opposed to the violent seizure ' of territories, but claim the restoration of the snatched colonies as a matter of course. The extortion of indemnities must be rejected, also the reconstruction Of the devastated territories. They agree to political restoration, and the nations' right to decide on their own independence. Belgium and Serbia should be restored; Poland and Finland should be liberated, and Ireland, Egypt, Tripoli, India, etc., should be freed from foreign appreeslon. Regarding Alsace-Lorraine, Hiey assert that it belongs to Germany, politically and ethnographic&Hy, and' its ,je»torattaa to France must be rejected.
