FOOTBALL.
« ♦ HIGH SCHOOL v. WAIMATE. Since the war there has been very little football here, save at school -and among lads under 20. Residents of this district wlil this afternoon hava an opportunity of seeing two such teams in action, when Waimate, the southern champions, will meet tho New Plymouth High School team, 'which last year defeated the redoubtable Te Ante, and a groat game is expected. The match will commence at 1.30 sharp in. the Recreation grounds, to enable the Waiinate team to catch the afternoon train. Mr, P. Page will referee.
