THE EMPIRE.
MARY PICKFORD AT THE MATINEE THIS AFTERNOON. To enable country folk and the kiddies to view Mary Pickford's greatest motion picture success, "The Girl of Yesterday," the 'Empire management has arranged to screen this fine subject again at the matinee this afternoon. TO-NIGHT. Glayds Hulette will appear again tonight in the Gold Rooster sensation, "Her New York," which attracted a good audience to the 'Empire last night. This story of a little country girl who goes to New York thinking it is a "dream city" but quickly awakens to find it a place full of peril and pitfalls is admirably suited to motion picture portrayal and grows intensely interesting as it scars the final scenes. The sternness of the problem that the captivating little wife faces when her husband's employer seeks to capture her is only one of the many powerful situations developed in I the course of the story. To-night will be the final screening oi "Her New York." . i
