PEACE TALK.
KAISERS ADVANCE GUARD. ADVOCATE NO ECONOMIC WAR. Received June 15, 5.40 p.m. Stockholm, June 14. The conference with the Majority Socialists has concluded. The Germans advocated tho limitation of armaments and the abolition of secret diplomacy. They opposed an economic war after peace, and urged an international agreement equalising the social and political laws. They expressed their unreserved rcadinoss to join in a Socialists' peace conference. THE STOCKHOLM CONFERENCE. LIKELY TO PROVE A FAILURE. Received June 16, 1.15 a.m. Stockholm, June 16. The chances of a general conference appear td jbe remote. The Danish leader, Stauning, states that French Socialists have changed their views since the French secret session, whilst the Russjan delegates 'were recalled during the Cabinet crisis. The German Minority's arrival has been persistently postponed. Teh Dutch and Scandinavian committee state that they and the German Majority will conclude a separate conference and will be issuing a report.
