By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The barometer has fallen considerably in the south, and freshening northerly winds prevailed. Cloudy weather ruled to-day, and rain has been reported iff the western districts. Present indications are for strong to squally northerly and westerly winds, changing to southerly, from 24 to 36 hours. Weather unsettled, with rain following generally. Barometer falling everywhere, but rising in the south after 24 hours.
