Kelly asking for lease 01 section of land in proximity to ierry that ho might build a shelter for goods arriving by coach.—Resolved thai ms the Board held no land there, could not grant the request, but recommended applicant to apply to the Public Works Department; from Mr. G. ¥. Taylor, offering a punt for sale.—Deferred until next meeting; from Mr. Jas B. Carr.— Postponed until next meeting -when it was hoped there would be a full attendance of members.

The secretary was directed to write to the Waitara Harbor Board in respect to the dredge and appliances to be used in the re-opening of the Mokau River to regular traffic. Ho was also directed to write to the chief postmaster, New Plymouth, regarding the probable time of arrival of Mr. iShrimpton, inspector of lines, the Board wishing to confer •with him upon his arrival. Accounts amounting to £l4 were passed for payment.
