WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Present indications are for high, but decreasing, southerly winds northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and variable and strong breezes, with increasing north-westerlies prevailing elsewhere; squally showery weather probable in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island; iand dull misty weather generally. The barometer will rise temporarily in the north, but is falling in the south.
