INGLEWOOD.
(By Our Travelling Reporter). Inglewood, June 12.
The residents of Kaimata are holding a big night this week, the occasion being the placing of an honors board in the local hall. Kaimata has done remarkably well in sending forth, soldiers to figlit for humanity's cause, and no less than 32 names are inscribed. Amongst the list are three who have "gone west" —Privates C. S. Nicholson and A. P. Burckart and Driver W. Russell. The honors board is a handsome piece ot woodwork, the names in gold on a black ground, with the. lettering "Kaimata's Roll of Honor" at top and bottom. The workmanship is by Mr. L. de Launay, arid reflects great credit on him. The weather here the last two days has been vile—abominable may be nearer the mark. Still a wet, windy, cold may mean better, weather in September.
