AN AIRCRAFT POSSIBILITY. MtEMIER'S REGRET, AT COALITION FAILURE. Received June 12, 5:5 p.m. Ottawa, June 11. Sir Robert Borden (Premier) stated that should the war continue for another two years it is not improbable that German aircraft will be sufficiently developed to reach and attack Canada. The Premier deeply regretted the failure to form a Coalition Government, but said they intended to proceed as best they could without coalition. Sir R. Borden has introduced an Elective Conscription Bill which includes ten classes, covering agee from twenty to forty-five. New York, June 11. The Ottawa correspondent of the New York Tribune says it may how be stated positively that the Conscription Bill will pass through the House, although it may take a month. The supporters of Sir Robert Borden car carry any war measure. Every membei and huge crowds are expected when th« House resumes to-morrow. While Sir Wilfred Laurier is knowi to be willing to drop the Liberal leadership it is extremely doubtful if Mi followers will allow him to do so. Then is no outstanding Liberal figure com manding such general support as Sii Wilfred Laurier. No election is novi probable. The Government has appointed t grain commission, endowed with dras tic powers to co-operate with the Unitec States in marketing and living the price! of grain. The commissioners will b< empowered to seize grain elevators, tc fix the purchase price, and also t( negotiate with the British Government
