IJorangahau, ,Ji me 7, The North Island championship sheep uog trial at Porangahau is still favored with good weather, and the competition in this event is very keen, some good work being put in. The hunt away won't ■be finished till Friday forenoon. The result of the short head class was: First, G. S. Hay's (I'aparangi) "Sir William Wallace," total 57; second, P. G. L. McKenzie's (Dannevirke) "Chap," totai fifi; third, M. Scott's (Hawera) 'Sweep," total points 54; fourth, G. Grant's (Dannevirke) "Lovet II." total points 53. r
