Tlu! executive of tho Dannevirke branch of tlie Farmers' 'Union discussed tlio matter of organisation of labor in the southern Hawke's Bay, particularly as it affects shearing and harvesting crops. The outcome of the discussion was that «, remit is to be forwarded to the Farmers' Union Conference urging the formulation of a scheme at the conference to assist organisation amongst fanners with a view to meeting labor difficulties in respect of shearing and harvesting.
