Wellington, Last Night. The police raided a hairdresser's shop kept by Gilbert Henry Price on Lamb. ton Quay, to-day, and seized' booka, etc, allegedly used for betting purpose*. They arrested Price on a charge of keeping k ■ gaming house, also John Henry Wert . and Wi Puki Smith on charge* of assisting (Price to conduct a gaming home. ' They also took in charge eight other* . found on the premises. All the ftCCUttd , were taken before a Justice of the Petea and remanded on bail till to-morrow morning.
