He also elegraphed the Kaiserin that the great Vnglo-French offensive had failed with 3od's help after the mightiest battles in listory. AN OFFICIAL REPORT. London, June 2. A wireless German official report states: Violent artillerying took place in the coastal area of the Ypres bend-Wyt-johaete sector. We repulsed English raids on Hulloch, Cherisy and Fontain. rhcre is active artillerying at Smorgon, Baranowitschi, Brody, Zloczow, and thu Tarnopol railway. A wireless German official report states: There is increased artillerying at the Wytschaete bend and Lens. On the north bank of the Scarpo we took prisoners including Portuguese. We captured a French position on a thousand metres front near Allemant. North-east of Soissons we repulsed repeated coun-ter-attacks. Wo took prisone? on the Western front in May 237 officers and 13,500 men, and captured three guns, 211 machine gun 3, 434 quick loaders and eighteen mine throwers. The Bulgarians captured an outpost position near Alcockmar, on the western bank of the Vardar. A WORTHLESS NOTE. Amsterdam, June 3. The North German Gazette has published an official Note declaring that Germany is not seeking territorial aggrandisement nor increase of economic and political power. She only wishes to defend her own territory in order to secure guarantees for her future.
