'f'HIS year the British Board of Trade, I through their Commissioner in Weilington (Mr. R. Dalton), is co-operating with the Winter Show to'put on an exhibition of British Manufactures. This is the first step in officially introducing Brii'sh goods to the public, in accordance with the. scheme of the British Govern* ment to co-ordinate the industrial forces of the Empire, and for the development of the Empire's trade, more especially with the Overseas Dominions. In a word, the opening of an era of—"BRITISH GOODS FOR BRITISH PEOPLE." Displays of British Goods in every shop in Hawera, WINDOW DRESSING COMPETITIONS THIS YEAR'S SHOW AND EXHIBITION.
