HAWKE'S BAY WORKS INCREASE STORAGE CAPACITY. Hastings, June 1. In view l of the lack of shipping and the possibility of congested storage j next year, Borthwick's and Nelson Bros, contemplate increasing the storage capacity at the Paki Paki and Tomoana works by 60,000 and 40,000 carcases rcspectively. The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Meat Company is .also increasing its capital to extend tfie storage capacity at the Whakatu works. It is estimated that it will take 3(1 steamers to clear stocks at the various works in the Dominion.
