SOLDIERS' CLUB. The following ladies kindly acted as hostesses for afternoon tea at the Soldiers' Club during May:—Mesdames R. A. Gray, Burgess, Simcock. Ewing, Penn, Young, Ambury, Sinclair, 11. 'Saturday, June 30, pierrots. 10-day there vill be a special featuro at the mart in the shape of quart jars of soups all ready for re-heating: Various kinds will be supplied, including kidney, aitichoke, tomato and clear consomme. .There will also be stuffed veal and pork, ham, Aberdeen sausage and the usual good stock of home-made bread and cakes, pickles, jams, etc. During the mouths of June and July the mart will dose punctually at 5 p.m., and purchasers are asked' to call before that hour.
