STRIKE AT.MONTE VIDEO, / Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. Buenos Ayres, May 20. A general strike has been declared in Monte Video. The army has taken over police duties. Newspapers will not be published. THE CROCKERLAIXD EXPEDITION. New York, May 29. A telegram from the Shetlands states that the members of the M'Millan Crockerland Arctic expedition are safe. The M'Millan expedition has arrived safely at Etah. Two members of the expedition. Hunt and Eblaw, geologists, sledged 1500 mile 3 from EtP.li to, Godhaven, Greenland. [Professor M'Millan's expedition failed from the (United States in July, 1913, in search of Crockerlnnd, supposed to have been sighted by Peary in 1900. Little news has been heard from him [since, though it has been ascertained that the expedition found that Crockerland had no real existence.]
