In the Thursday < section of the Cup the second round has ■ been played, Wood defeating "Webster. At the invitation of the Inglewood Club, a team from the New Plymouth Club will journey to Inglewobd on Mon- . day, next to meet a team from the local , club. Being a public holiday, it is hoped , a, long team will be available for the trip, and players who can possibly get ; away are requested to send in their ' names to the captain or secretary as soon ' as posible. Already about ten players ' have signified their intention of going, ' «, but as Inglewood wants fourteen players ] ™ to meet them, it is hoped that others will ' do their utmost to get away.
