A BOOKMAKER FINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court William Daniel Darvill, charged with' being a bookmaker and betting on the Trentham racecourse, was fined £2O. Similar charge* against Clarence Cecil Hopkins and Leonard Mextcd were withdrawn.
