THE EMPIRE.
DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS AKD BILLIE BURKE TO-NIGHT, Douglas Fairbanks makes his bow tonight at the Empire in "The Matrimaniac." It is .asserted that the agile •and athletic young man outdoes all his previous feats of leaping, swinging, climbing, and bounding in this newest picture; also, it is announced, ho adds to his past programme by riding the "rods" of a railway coach and walking from a roof to a telegraph pole along the wires. At the pole ho stops long enough to get married by vrfre, an obliging linesman making the necessary connection with a minister who is in gaol, and Doug/a fiancee, who is locked in a room in an hotel. Charming Billie Burke figures in "Hidden Tires," the sixth chapter of "Gloria's Romance," and will further delight her numerous admirers. , ' .i ,
