DOMINION WINTER SHOW.

A UNIQUE DEPASTURE. The Dominion Winter Show, to be held at Hawera during the first week in July, is something more than a show. IL is a British trades exhibition as | well. With the co-operation of Mr. Dalton, British Trades Commissioner, an exhibition of British made goods will he made at the show, as well as in the I shops of the town. This will be the (irst step in officially introducing British goods to the public, in accordance with the scheme of the British Government to co-ordinate tho industrial forces of the Empire, and for the development of the Empire's trade, more especially with the Overseas Dominions. In a word it will mark the opening of an era of "British goods for British people" so far as Now Zealand is concerned. It is an ambitious undertaking, but it is ' D<! ' n ß cordially supported by Mr. Dalton and | manufacturers and agents, and should prove of very great benefit to all parties, as iwell as an education to the people of Taranaki. The usual classes—butter, cheese, home industries, fancy work, bee keepers, poultry, etc.—are bound to be well filled, and there is every reason to believe the show will prove'more successful thai ever this year.
