MEDICOS IN BACKBLOCKS.

To the Edito • Sir, —Dr. Whetter's evidence before the Military Board, as reported in the press, gives the impression that I am unable to get about the country. While quite realising that Dr. Whetter can ill be spared, I cannot afford to allow the impression that I am almost bedridden to be spread about. On the contrary, I feel quite capable of undertaking any journey, or even of following Dr. Whetter's lead through the back blocks.—l am, etc., E. S. NUTTING. Inglewood, May 20, 1917.
