SHIPPING PROBLEM SOLVED.
IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT ADVANCES TWO MILLIONS. Auckland, May 20. In a speech at the Commercial Travellers' Club on .Saturday, the Hon. A. M. Myers said that he was confident that the tonnage difficulty would be cleared Up in a few months. The Imperial Government had undertaken to advance two millions sterling on account of meat in store awaiting shipment.
