Australian Methodist Conforemv lias decided to ask New Zealand to participate in the raising of £SOOO to establish near Sydney a training home for missionary sisters, to be known as the George Brown Memorial Home, in recognition of Dr. Brown's work for the mission. The regulations relating to the Luxuries Board have been gazetted. The powers include the restricting of importations with due regard to the question of industrial employment, and recomfiifiiding whether bounties or bonus shall lie paid to encourage the manufacture of goods.
