FIRE AT FRUIT WORKS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, May 19. Parson and Oo.'b fruit evaporating works (G. Budden, owner) and Thompson and Hill's fruit pulping works, at Mot'ueka, were destroyed by fire last night. The fire started in the evaporating works and spread to the adjoining factory. Budden's insurance was £BOO on plant and 'building. The' str '*, which was valued at £SOO, was uninsured. Thomson and Hill's plant nnd building were valued at about £2OOO, but the insurances are unknown locally.
