SALE OF STATE MINE IMPROBABLE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cliristchurch, May I'B . The Hon, G. W Russell and Mr. 11. G. Ell state that the proposal to sell the State Coal Mines will not be sanctioned by them.
Mr. Russell said he did not think there was the slightest Chance of the proposal receiving the serious consideration of tho Government.
Mr. El! said hei, and many other members, would opopse it at every turn.
