WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Strong west to south-west winds have prevailed, and the weathe" has continued unsettled generally, with scattered raintall. The atmospheric pressure increased slightly, but it is still below normal over the Dominion. The Chatham Islands today reported the low reading of 28.93 inches. Present indications are for cold, unsettled and cloudy conditions, with rain probable generally. Expect 3trong, squally south-easterly winds, backing to westerly. The barometer is rising temporarily, but falling again in the south soon.
