In all the other States the Nationalist bunohes appear safe, though there are still a good many absentee votes and the whole of the soldiers' votes to reckon with. BY-ELECTIONS IN QUEENSLAND. Brisbane, May 15. In the three State by-elections Liberals won two and the Official Labor Party one. The Vaughan Government has now only nineteen seats in the ■ House against twenty-two Liberal and four Official Labor.
