THE SON OF AN ALIEN, By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. A young man, who was born in New Zealand, but whose father was an unnaturalised German, cam© before the Military Appeal Board to-day, and said he had made repeated attempts to enlist, but had been told by the military authorities that they did not want him. Ho asked that his name be removed from the reserve so that he would not be drawn in the ballot, but received no reply. The case was adjourned for enquiry.
